| With much emphasis placed on the ritualistic aspects of religion (prayer, fasting, Hajj etc), it is unfortunate that good manners and respectable social conduct which form an integral part of Islamic tradition have been overlooked. In every sphere of the Prophet's صلى الله عليه و سلم sunnah one is taught the value and importance of adopting good manners (Akhlaq) and noble etiquettes. It was this very akhlaaq of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم and his companions that was most responsible for the spread of Islam. |
