In a hadeeth recorded by Imam Tirmidhi
related from Abu Hurairah رضى الله عنه he says thar Rasulullah صلى الله
عليه و سلم said 'A man is upon the deen of his friend, so one of you
should watch who he befriends'. We socialise with one another and

another or even how destructive. We learn from the Ahadeeth that even
animals have an effect on our attitude and style of life. Whether or
not we are practicing, the fact is, we are influenced by those around
us. As the saying goes 'show me your friends and I will tell you who
you are.' This talk elaborates on many verses and Ahadeeth wherein we
have been instructed on how we should be cautious when choosing our
friends, as Allah says in the Quran 'close friends will be enemies on
that day except those who have taqwa.'
