The entire worldly life is a thin veneer of beauty, attraction, glitter and glamour that conceals very deep and thick layers of ugliness and evil. It is a life of deception yet still distracts us and makes us forgetful of our death. Every soul will have to taste death and visit its grave. But what has man prepared for it? Our state within the grave is determined by our actions upon the earth. Either it will be a garden of paradise or a pit of hell. The very thought should strike fear within our hearts for the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم has said, ‘You will be tested and faced with tribulations within the grave. It will be so immense that it is almost similar to the tribulation of Dajjal.’ This talk details how we can make our graves a garden of paradise and abstain from making it a pit of hell.
