it is Halal certified (by HMC) and has a no perfume formulation making it ideal fo use during Hajj and Umrah.
Halo Light Moisturising Cream is suitable for all skin types. This pure
and gentle facial moisturiser can be used by both women and men.
Halo Light Moisturising cream can be applied:
Daily: its light non-greasy formula is suitable for all skin types and
can be used as part of your daily skincare routine. Enriched with added
Vitamin E to help nourish, hydrate and moisturise skin.
Frequent application: it is light enough to wash off easily during Wudu
(ablution), and can be reapplied five times a day if necessary, or as
required.
Hajj and Umrah: its no perfume formulation makes Halo pure enough to apply during Hajj and Umrah
We look to nature for our inspiration, and our cream contains active natural ingredients:
Vitamin E is a powerful natural
anti-oxidant which means that it can protect cells from being damaged
by "oxygen free radicals" which have been linked to aging and skin cell
damage. Vitamin E works by neutralising free radicals produced from
sources like air pollution and ultraviolet radiation.
Aloe vera derives its name from
the Arabic word 'alloeh', which means bitter. The Aloe plant is a
miraculous natural remedy well known for its skin soothing and healing
properties, and has been used since ancient times by the Egyptians,
Arabs, Africans and Indians. When combined with Vitamin E it helps to
keep the skin supple, moisturised and soothed.
Sweet almond oil is well known
for its skin softening, smoothing, and cleansing properties. In
particular it is recommended for people with sensitive skin, and is
used in skincare preparations to act as a natural emollient against
skin irritations, itching, dermatitis and dry skin.
Shea Butter is a most effective
natural skin moisturiser and protector. Its excellent moisturisation
qualities are due to its high content of natural fatty acids and
vitamins. Shea butter is gentle, light and completely absorbed into the
skin without clogging pores or leaving a greasy residue, it retains
moisture and skin elasticity, and for this reason is a popular
ingredient in anti-wrinkle preparations.
Cruelty Free
We are firmly against cruelty to animals and our products have not been tested on animals.
Suitable for use by vegetarians
Halo Light Moisturising does not contain any animal derived ingredients
(we use stearic acid and glycerine from vegetable sources).

At Halo, we have ensured that all the ingredients and the manufacturing
process itself of Halo Light Moisturising Cream are compliant with the
highest shariah standards. We work closely with the independent
regulatory authority, Halal Monitoring Committee, UK (www.halalmc.org)
in meticulously screening all ingredients used and auditing the
production process itself.
Bad things out…
At Halo skincare we avoid harsh chemicals. Halo Light Moisturising
cream does not have: synthetic fragrances, artificial colourants,
parabens, lanolin, PABA-sunscreen, Formaldehyde, Urea, PEG's, DEA, or
any unnecessary synthetic additives.
No perfume
Fragrances are often used in skincare products to cover up the chemical
smell of the other ingredients in the preparation. According to the
American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), fragrance is the number one
cause of allergic reactions in cosmetics.
Because Halo LMC contains no added perfume and because we use active
natural ingredients, the fragrance of the product is only of the
ingredients themselves.
In addition, Halo is ideal for those looking for a no perfume cream suitable for Hajj or Umrah.
No colour
Artificial colours may sometimes cause allergic reactions in people
with sensitive skin. We do not believe that we need to tint or mask the
colour of our products.
No parabens
We do not use parabens in our Light Moisturising Cream. Parabens are
widely used in skin care products, but they can be irritating to the
skin and eyes and can cause allergic reactions. In addition, recent
research has shown that there is some evidence that parabens may
disrupt the body’s hormone systems, by mimicking the effects of
oestrogen.
