Islamic Toleration & Justice - Non Muslims under Muslim rule

The present book grew from Dr Iqbal's addresses to explain how the Muslim rulers in the past treated the Jews, Christians and Hindus in a spirit of justice and realism. Too significant a part is the prolegomena of the book which stresses the need to enforce Islamic teachings. Without this, neither the Muslims can form themselves into a judicious and healthy society, nor can they deliver the world from its present trmoil. The author emphatically re-explains common view that in the message of Islam lies the effective remedy to the ills of Mankind.

The author .Shekh Mohammad Iqbal, graduate from the Punjab University, Lahore, did his master's and Law from A.M.U Aligarh and obtained his Ph.D from International School, Sapru house, New Delhi in 1962. His fields of specialization are Saudi Arabia. early Islamic History and Arab/islamic issues. Widely travelled, Dr Iqbal worked as Fulbright-Hays senior scholar and visiting Asian Professor in the US. He has contributed about thirty books and numerous research papers. and articles and has been richly commented upon by eminent scholars and statesmen.

Mashallah this set of books and CD are absolutely fantastic, my children’s all have mp3 players, they upload it and concentrate on each section at a time along with the book, as they finish each section, I upload another chapter on to their mp3 player, I have seen an enormous improvement in my children’s ability to read the quran. I definitely would recommend this set.
