Like all on Imam Ghazali's works, this book is simple and easy to understand.
It aims at the spiritual reformation of the individual. Unless a man reforms his inner self, he cannot discharge the rights of Allah and of fellow men. Only after reformation can one discharge the various Islamic obligations like prayer, fasting etc.
Imam Ghazali has attempted to correct the shortfalls in an individual's meeting the rights of Allah and fellow men.

The Book is divided into three sections.
10 Principles of obvious deeds,
List of blameworthy deeds and purification of the heart,
The method of adorning oneself with praiseworthy manners.

About Imam Ghazali
Abu Hamid Muhammad, famous in the world of learning as al-Ghazzali was born in 450 AH (1058 A.D). in Persia . He graduated from the Nizamia Madressa at Nishapur, with distinction.a very famous educational institution in Nishapur. Later he was appointed as a teacher at the Nizamia College in Baghdad, where he proved very successful in imparting knowledge to the scholars under his care. This valuable gift of sustaining interest of his pupils and passing on his knowledge to them made him so famous that students from all parts of the country flocked to study under him.
Imam al-Ghazzali was fondly referred to as the "Hujjat-ul-lslam", Proof of Islam, He is honoured as a scholar and a saint by learned men all over the world.

Simple Steps in Quraan Reading - Books & CD Set

Mashallah this set of books and CD are absolutely fantastic, my children’s all have mp3 players, they upload it and concentrate on each section at a time along with the book, as they finish each section, I upload another chapter on to their mp3 player, I have seen an enormous improvement in my children’s ability to read the quran. I definitely would recommend this set.
